Kicks Blue
Forgive my deeply stressed partner - I think all the lace has gone to his head - the photographer who did such a wonderful job for us is, of course, Magi McBride. Truly, Blue starts looking at the pictures of the Champagne Room ladies and all hopes of decent spelling go out the window...

Magi McBride (OK Im stressed...and I'm blaming it on the lace too!) has done a wonderful job with the photos from the opening night! Pictures here is DeepestBlue Luna sporting the Prince de Sang suit from VR Phlux, just look at the detail on that waistcoat, accompanied by the very beautiful and very talented Phoenixa Sol, whose aerial dances are something to behold, believe me I've experienced them!
Pictured here are two of the most stylishly dressed people at the opening (No, No, not myself and Phoe, though I thank you for your generosity..) Biggus his modelling beautifully Indira Bekkers Tux. It fits him like a glove, thought I sure it will fit you too, it being very adjustable! and Indira standing next to him, the designer Goddess herself...(bows down in submission and abeyance...) admiring her handywork on Biggus, and indeed it is worthy of admiration

WOW!
What a party! The Champagne Room ladies did us proud - really any party with these ladies is bound to be a hit! And so many people - many thanks to all who attended - it was wonderful to see so many people.
As predicted Blue DID do something blackmail worth - unfortuanately the photographer had left by the time Blue did his burlesque dancing....anyone who did manage to get photos please contact me - somethings really really need to be shared. :D
Right give me a week to recover and then start sending in suggestions for our next event - we have a lovely social space as well as the fantastic shop area and we want to see it used.

Countdown til Doomsday

Whisper
Ohhh...I have a secret!
A certain wonderful photographer will be taking photos at our opening night and the photographs be featured here and at BlueFire after the even.
This lady may not be undiscovered but she is certainly not as well know as she should be - all the better for me - if people realised just how good she is then there is no way that she'd have been able to squeeze in a visit to the BlueFire opening - she would be booked up months in advance!!
Incriminating photographs of DeepestBlue will, most likely be available after the opening (champagne and ladies in corsets - he is bound to do something blackmail worthy).
Prices to be confirmed due to not knowing just how incriminating/embarrassing the pictures will be.

As readers may know I am passionate about mens clothes on SecondLife, us ladies take time effort and no little cash to look wonderful for any occasion but it isn't so easy for the SecondLife men. Good formals are the easiest to find but really good casuals can be more of a challenge.
Well due to a whisper from one of my contacts I took a trip to an out of the way mall and found a hidden gem.
4Guise is growing fast and it is a name that people who are interested in mens clothes should be searching for.
Andrus casual clothing is an eye opener - from beach wear (boardies that don't look like they were sprayed on - hurrah!), to edgy casual/street wear - if your man is tired of wearing a tux or suit then maybe this is the place you should be insisting he visits.
It is refreshing to say that if you have been let down by things that look wonderful on the sales picture but less than perfect on the men in your SecondLife, then the 4Guise collection will restore your faith - the sales pictures do not do them justice! I took a look at full collection and was cautious - then Andru offered to show me the clothes "in the flesh" so as to speak - and I was impressed! The distressed jeans have great textures and lovely cut, the chinos...ohh thank you Andru - a good pair of trousers that aren't part of a suit, jeans or made out of leather!!! and so much more.
The Hawaiian shirts with their quirky, witty designs wonderful bright colours and quirky little details are perfect for beach parties or just those days when you want to walk around bringing a little sunshine into our lives. See them and smile.
And Andru has mastered that most difficult of SecondLife item - the mens shoe - all I can say is Jeepers Creepers could soon have serious competition - which those who know me will know is high praise indeed.
The 4Guise collection is huge and at BlueFire we can only show a part of it - but pop in and see what we think is the very finest of the collection or visit the SLurl and see what a super talented workaholic can produce.
This is a designer I am proud to introduce to you and am very very pleased to have discovered.

Mrs Henderson Presents....
All this talk of burlesque reminds me of the film Mrs Henderson presents...now I don't know if itt got across the pond, or across any other stretch of water, but its the story of the Windmill Theatre in London during the war at the height of the blitz. Witty sassy and cutting, it features Judi Dench as Mrs Henderson. The theatre was based upon the Moulin Rouge and entertained the troops during the height of the war...
Last night was quite eventful on SL..but amidst all the drama, which i might or might not tell you..depends if you ask...I found a garter recently placed in my inventory!!! haha me thinks the New Champagne rooms have designs on me performing! Well practising anyway. I haven't tried it on yet, but I can feel the elastic twanging on my thigh as i write this....brrrr pass me a whiskey quick, before a fall prey to debauched ways...what? we are out of whiskey...oh dear looks like there's no get out....
Finally you'll be glad to know that Fire will be writing a blog entry on our newest arrival to BlueFire..Andru, and his range of clothes and shoes, so if you are fed up of my rantings, relief is at hand

Burlesque at BlueFire
last night I was with Fire, meeting our new designer, Andru at BlueFire when a right rowdy rabble rezzed in to the shop and making hullabaloo... turned out to be none other than Annamaria Isabella and Anhyanka Delphin, the co owners of the New Champagne Rooms; purveyors of fine burlesque in secondLife come to discuss the planning details for the opening show and give us a quick peek at their stocking tops (remember Saturday 2nd Feb 2.30pm PST (10.30pm GMT). We are all so excited about it, and just to give you a glimpse of whats in store, here is the cover of the girl's new calendar-there is a copy up on the ground floor at BlueFire. We are planning three shows set in the ground floor of BlueFire and a night of debauchery, innuendo and fun, not necessarily in that order.
Back to the calendar....Im going to keep it on July..thats Moira's page...what?..what?..innocent gaze...
Now as luck would have it The Champagne Rooms have also got a blog, I've placed a link on this site, so you can pop over and take a peep at whats in store..Keep flashing those garters girls!

where else would this happen...?
Imagine the scene...a beautiful Victorian interior, with a normal male av wondering which suit to but and Fire being the perfect assistant giving impartial advice, when in comes a satyr....wearing almost nothing and marking the beeswaxed floor with his dirty hooves, anf Fire asks him to model his Jeepers shoes...surely the hooves would mke mincemeat of them! Don't tell Jeepers, they would turn in their grave..only he isnt in it!
If that wasnt bad enough there was a fairy on the sofa watching all the goings on...the sweetest one you ever saw...I do love SL, it really blows raspberries at life!

Ive aways wanted to be able to get behind the facade of the clothing designers in Secondlife to try to understand what makes them tick (what makes us all tick!)
Blogs are a great way of doing that, and Lissa Maertens from Cattiva ans Cattivo has done that-see above. If you go there you will see she is an award winning designer. Hopefully you will get to meet her at the opening night, or at least buy one of her delicious outfits!

Well Fire and I are getting a bit excited...nope, not for that reason! its close to the official opening of the BlueFire club. Yes, all the vendors are set up, and tonight Ive been dncing with a delightful burlesque madam, Moira. We plan to have burlesque theatre there, with models wearing the wide range of clothes that we are selling. Fire let me buy VR Phlux's Prince de Sang suit for the night (my VR Phlux Blood Prince outfit is holed right through I wear it so much, and of course my James Dean Jeepers Creepers which I wouldnt be seen without...well only in private anyway!
